Assembly Project Manager

Role Summary/Purpose:

Assembly Project manager demonstrates accountability for project management goals and objectives in the area of assembly for aircraft engine development program. In this role you will coordinate cross functional teams in order to meet the scope within the program milestones, schedules, deliverables, resources inside the Supply Chain.
You will be responsible for the fulfillment of all assembly requirements received by the Module Engineer, Eval and System Engineer on schedule, cost and quality.

Essential responsibilities:

Assure assembly capacity and capability to meet program requirements.
Coordnate a cross functional team within supply chain (i.e. Technologist, Assembly Mechanics, Assembly planner ) and external vendors if needed.
Provides Project management and team support in the area of engine assembly.
Verify that all requirements from Engineering are implemented in assembly manufacturing processes and certification requirements.
Collaborate with System/Model Engineers to evaluate design changes impacts and feasability.
Cooperate dayly with Project Manager responsible for engine instrumentation and with Eval.
Provides support to improve best practices related to aircraft engine assembly processes.
Communicate to management line program status and provide updates on assembly activities schedule, cost and resources.

Qualifications/Requirements :

Bachelor´s/Engineer´s degree in engineering from accredited university or college or proven knowledge of general mechanic.
Manufacturing working experience or program management background, preferably in assembly..
Strong analytical and organizational skills and ability to manage priorities in short amount of time.
Knowledge in mechanic, assembly processes, aircraft engine design and project management.
Strong oral and written communication skills.
Fluent in English language, Czech language is an advantage
